Between sets.
A few things worth knowing before your next workout.
Does my timer keep running when I leave the app?
Timed workouts and sound cues continue when you lock your device or switch apps. Untimed intervals keep elapsed time and wait for you to return and tap Next. Calls, audio interruptions, and speaker disconnections pause the workout; check your audio output, then tap Resume. Force-quitting the app stops playback.
How do I use my music and Bluetooth speaker?
Connect your speaker and start music in Apple Music or your usual music app first. The timer plays its cues alongside your music. In Settings or on the Get ready screen, confirm the audio output, adjust Cue level, and test the sound. The app remembers your Cue level. If cues are too quiet, check both your device’s media volume and the app’s Cue level.
How do I save, export, or import a workout?
Workout edits save automatically on your device. Open Get ready for a workout, then use Share / AirDrop or Save workout file to export a JSON file. On the receiving device, save the file in Files and use Import workout file in the workout library. Imports create a copy.
What happens after an interruption or app restart?
The app saves recovery checkpoints during an active workout. After a restart, a recoverable session opens paused so you can resume when ready. Up to one second of recent progress may be missing. Audio interruptions or a disconnected speaker can also pause a running workout.
How does the Blackjack section work?
It’s an untimed intermission that plays hands automatically. Pause lets you take over with Hit, Stand, and Deal; Resume returns to autoplay. Tap Next—or Finish in the last section—to move on. There are no bets, purchases, or real-money prizes.
Where are my workouts stored?
Workouts and recovery checkpoints are stored locally in the app. There’s no app account or developer-operated cloud sync. Device backups and any files you choose to export may have their own copies. Read the privacy policy for details.
